Biography

Mamadou Bah is a cinematographer based in London, United Kingdom. Mamadou began to study film-television production in 2010 at South and City College Birmingham. Since then, Mamadou has enjoyed making films while working behind the camera.

 

After completing BTEC Level 3 in 2013, Mamadou moved to London in 2017 from Birmingham, Mamadou started working as a freelancer videographer since then to present he started his own film production company in 2016. Since then, Mamadou has worked on many different film projects, such as television programmes, as a multi-cam director and video editor. Mamadou also continues to achieve his education.

 

He started studying at the University of Greenwich in 2021 and will graduate in 2024. The University allowed Mamadou to gain more skills and knowledge at this stage. Mamadou enjoyed shooting anything with a good story, but most days, you can find him shooting documentaries, commercials, and narrative work. Mamadou approaches each project meticulously and with intention.

 

Every shoot has unique requirements, and Mamadou believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach. From larger shoots to one-man-band type of productions, Mamadou is comfortable in both large-scale productions and cinema verité style shoots with minimal crew.
